Computex 2017: ASUS ZenBook Flip S UX370 seems like a great deal for PC gamers

In the past few days, we've been showing you guys some of the newest devices that Asus just unveiled recently at Computex event in Taipei. From the affordable but good performing gaming laptops under VivoBook series, then continued with the pricey ZenBook 3 Deluxe, and of course 3 new ZenPad slates. But apparently, there's more. ASUS ZenBook Flip S laptop (UX370) also got the share of spotlight at Computex 2017

First of all, ASUS ZenBook Flip S is a 2-in-1 notebook. But it is a convertible one. So there will be no detachable keyboard whatsoever here. This one actually reminds us with ASUS Chromebook Flip C213 which has a flexible hinge that can bend for up to 360 degrees. And this is exactly what ASUS is offering through its latest-gen ASUS ZenBook Flip S.

This laptop is also as flexible as other competitors on the market such as HP Spectre x360 which allows you to use this notebook in 4 different modes: laptop, tent, kickstand and tablet modes. And this is not the only thing that is so amazing with the design of ASUS ZenBook Flip S.

ASUS ZenBook Flip S also comes with premium design and build quality. It's made in all-metal finish all over its chassis and it's also really thin. Asus said that you don't need to worry about its weight because this laptop is really thin and light. It weighs at 2.5 pounds and it's really light in hands.

Besides the design, one of the best things you'll instantly get from this laptop is definitely its specs. ASUS ZenBook Flip S is a powerful notebook. In fact, we totally recommend it to you if you're looking for a gaming laptop.

It's powered by the seventh-gen Core i7-7500U processor from Intel, clocked at 2.7GHz per core. It's also accompanied with a monstrous Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card and a huge 16GB of RAM. So this one is definitely way more powerful than the base model of Surface Laptop, which costs $1000, while ASUS' laptop is just slightly expensive.

But for that price, you'll get much even better hardware here than Microsoft's laptop. So you can basically write and sketch on this device with great precision out of its stylus.

This laptop also looks superior in screen department. It features a 13-inch display which sports 1080p (1920x1080 pixels) resolution. So playing games on this machine or watching movies is going to be really awesome given its sharp and large screen real estate. There's also the 4K variant available for this laptop, but of course, it's gonna cost you more.

The great thing about this notebook is, there's a new cooling system inside this machine that uses a very thin liquid-crystal-polymer fan impeller, allowing the fan to have much thinner blades, which is really important due to its slim and thin design.

At Computex, ASUS claimed that this laptop is capable to deliver up to 11.5 hours of battery life out of its 39.5Whr battery. And more amazingly, if you're running out of juice, there's a fast charging feature which can replenish its battery from 0% to 60% in within just 49 minutes.

ASUS ZenBook Flip S will be available in interesting color options. There are Gold, Royal Blue and Gray. So pick the one you like and you're good to go.

Oopss! We almost forgot one important thing. About the price, ASUS ZenBook Flip S will cost $1099 for the base model. And that's the one with 1080p display. But for this price, we think this laptop can be a great purchase for you especially you're currently on the hunt of great gaming laptop.
