As many of you know, today, Chromebook laptops are becoming more and more popular than iPads among students in the US. Well, if you're interested to get one, we have a cheap Chromebook laptop that you may want to check out. It's Lenovo ThinkPad 11e Chromebook by the way. The good news is, this laptop can be yours right now for only $140.

Yes, that's true. Yesterday, Lenovo ThinkPad 11e Chromebook just got its price slashed down to only $140 ($139.89 to be exact). And it's available today on Amazon.

For comparisons, Lenovo ThinkPad 11e Chromebook is now priced at $299 at Best Buy, while B&H Photo has it for $185. So the offer from Amazon is definitely worth checking out here because it's the cheapest price around.

But the question is, is it worth it?

Well, from what we see, it's safe to say that Lenovo ThinkPad 11e Chromebook is one hell of a great purchase.

You might ask why.

Lenovo Thinkpad 11e: Unbelievable? This cheap $140 Chromebook can turn into a tablet and it has 4GB RAM plus Intel HD Graphics
Okay, first of all, this Lenovo Chromebook laptop is not just a regular laptop. It is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop. So of course, in normal laptop mode, you can simply use it normally on the table, just like any laptops. But the coolest thing is, you can flip it over for up to 360 degrees to enter the tablet mode.

This is definitely the first and main reason why we think Lenovo ThinkPad 11e is totally worth purchasing especially with its cheap discounted price.

But that's not all. There's more.

Specs

This Lenovo Chromebook comes with an 11.6-inch display sporting the 1366x768 pixels resolution. This is higher than the regular 720p display (1280x720 pixels). So you can still get a pretty good amount of details over its screen when browsing the web or watching HD movies.

As far as the performance is concerned, Lenovo ThinkPad 11e Chromebook is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Intel Celeron N3150 processor, accompanied with 4GB of RAM to ensure smooth experience to users.

Meanwhile, the whole graphical tasks thrown on this laptop will be handled by Integrated Intel HD Graphics. So performance-wise, this Lenovo laptop totally has what it takes to be a good performing laptop.

However, it still depends totally on Chrome OS because this platform is still in the early stage and lots of improvements and bug fixes are still needed. Hopefully Google will improve it even further in the future to make it better and smoother in performance.

Anyway, you'll only get 16GB out of its built-in eMMC storage, which is acceptable given its cheap $140 price point. The good news is, there's an SD card slot provided to give you an extra space for all of your media stuff.

Another thing to notice from this laptop is, it's got some rugged features like a rubber bumper. And this is really great because it ensures that this laptop will be durable enough when falling to the solid ground.

How does it perform for playing games?

Lenovo ThinkPad 11e Chromebook is powered by relatively good performing specs, from Intel Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM and Intel HD graphics.

However, despite having a pretty solid performance, this Lenovo Chromebook has very limited game selection on Chrome web store. There are many popular games on Android OS that cannot be found on Chrome web store.

The good news is, according to androidcentral.com, sometime in 2017, this Lenovo ThinkPad 11e Chromebook will be one of the Chromebook laptops to get the support from Google to run Android apps on Google Play Store.

So with the specs that it comes with, we believe this Lenovo laptop can be an ideal laptop to play Android games.

Are you gonna buy it?

So what do you think about this Chromebook? Are you interested to get one? Or you have doubts of buying it due to the fact that it's running on Chrome OS, not Windows 10 OS?

Well, what decision you pick, we totally recommend you this laptop especially if you're only looking for a basic productive laptop for typing or Office editing and you're okay with its inability to run Windows legacy software.

It's really cheap, only $140, but it's got some great stuff to offer here, like its 720p display, 4GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics, its ability to flip over 360 degrees and its durable strong design.

We really hope that this model also comes with the support to run Android apps in the future. That would make it a much better choice for customers in hybrid laptop category.
