These 2 tablets from Huawei recently were caught 'red-handed' being listed on Huawei's official website. This probably means that these 2 MediaPad tablets will launch in the coming days. Unfortunately, there's no information nor details about the pricing and availability of these 2 devices.
The question is, are they worth checking out?
As far as specs goes, Huawei MediaPad T3 is definitely the higher-end model of the 2 here. On the front side, it's got an 8-inch IPS HD display sporting the 1280x800 pixels resolution. And then, in performance department, you'll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917) SoC running the engine.
When launched to the market, Huawei MediaPad T3 tablet will be available in 2 variants. The first one comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, while the second model has a bigger 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. Based on our experience, the last variant usually will be more expensive here due to bigger RAM and storage.
Like to take selfies? Well, you got it. This tablet is equipped with 2MP fixed-focus camera on the front, while the rear shooter is 5MP autofocus. And if you love to watch movies in marathon or play games in long hours, Huawei claims that this tablet will deliver you a long lasting enjoyment through its 4800mAh battery, even in heavy use (So that's good news!).
Huawei MediaPad T3 7 - the low-end tablet
And that's the first regular MediaPad tablet. What about its sibling - Huawei MediaPad T3 7 tablet?
Huawei MediaPad T3 7, as its name implies, is indeed a 7-inch tablet. It's got a 7-inch IPS display with the screen resolution of 1024x600 pixels. In performance, this tablet will be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor with the clock speed of 1.3GHz.
Just like its sibling, Huawei MediaPad T3 7 will also be available in 2 models - the one with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage and the other one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. But both are running on the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS layered with Huawei's EMUI 4.1 skin on top of it.
2MP cameras are to be found on both rear and front sides for those of you who love taking photos or videos. But of course, don't get your hopes too high on the quality because they probably are not going to mesmerize you.
Given its smaller screen and lower resolution, Huawei only crams a smaller 3100mAh battery inside this tablet. But we can assume that its battery life will also be pretty good here, just like its sibling.
Pricing and Availability?
You'll be given 2 options of colors here - Space Grey and Luxurious Gold. But we would recommend you to get the gold one here because it tends to have stable price. So when you feel like selling it, you can get a much better and stable price here than the gray one.
Anyway, if you want to get one of these Huawei's tablets, be sure to check out Huawei's official website in the coming days because Huawei MediaPad T3 and Huawei MediaPad T3 7 tablets will be available soon.
Rumor has it that the 8-inch model will be priced at EUR 219, while the smaller 7-inch Huawei MediaPad T3 tablet can be yours for EUR 129.
