Under the heavy sun in the daylight, the screen of your smartphone or tablet becomes really impossible to view. The solution for that is usually be setting the screen brightness to the highest level.

So we can view the screen more clearly and from there, we can start using our smartphone normally again.

But the question is, how exactly to control the screen brightness of our smartphone? Well, this actually depends on what platform are you using right now.

If you’re currently using iPad, iPhone or iOS-based devices, you can actually control the brightness by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (when on the homescreen) to open the navigation panel which will appear instantly from the bottom. And from there you can finally control the screen brightness.

Meanwhile, if you’re using Android smartphone or tablet, below I’m going to show you how to control the screen brightness of your device. Hope this helps!

#1. Go to Setting

If you want to control the screen brightness of your smartphone or tablet, you can actually open the drop-down notification panel from the top and from there, you can drag the pointer on the top to control the brightness either to higher or lower level.

However, there’s also another way to control the screen brightness of our smartphone and also to modify the screen settings of your device.

#2. Select ‘Display’

After opening the Setting app, now scroll down for a bit and then press ‘Display’ to enter to the configuration of the screen of your smartphone or tablet.

#3. Tap on ‘Brightness Level’

As you can see, there is the section called ‘Brightness Level’. Okay, now tap on it change the brightness level of screen on your device.

#4. Drag the pointer to left or right to control the brightness

Once you tap on ‘Brightness Level’, the brightness controller will pop up on top of the screen. If you want to set the brightness level, you can simply drag it either to left (to turn the brightness to lower level) or drag it to the right to set the brightness to higher level.

#5. Use ‘Adaptive Brightness’

There’s actually the standard feature that enables your device to turn the screen brightness either to higher or lower level depends on the lighting conditions around you.

So if you’re using your device on the bed in low light, the screen will be set in lower level. On the other hand, if you’re using your device in the area in good lighting conditions, the screen will then turn its brightness to normal level so user will be able to view the screen conveniently.

But for me personally, I always set the screen brightness of my device manually in medium level. So it’s not too high, not too low either.

And it actually has been good not only for me when using it, but also for its battery life because if we set the screen brightness too high, it will only drain the battery life much faster.

Conclusion

Well, there you have it guys, my tips about how to change the level of screen brightness on your smartphone or tablet. Hope you like what I just shared in this post.

There’s actually another trick to improve the screen of your device so it will look more gorgeous and more vivid than the standard default screen setting.
