But what if something goes wrong in the future? For example, what if suddenly you just cannot load the game on your PS 5 maybe because the save data has become corrupted? or maybe, you accidentally delete all of your save data?
Well, what would you do if that really happens in the future?
Okay, no worries guys, here I will show you how exactly to backup the save game on your PS 5. Hope this helps!
1. Go to Setting
Okay, the first thing you need to do is, on the main screen, go to setting on the top right.
2. Select"Save Data and Game App Settings"
On the Setting screen, scroll down the list and then open "Save Data and Game App Settings". Here you will find all of the save data and game settings of all your PS 5 games.
3. Select "Saved Data"
Now select the option "Saved Data".
4. Backup your save game data
In "Saved Data" option, you can start creating the backup of your save game data to other location.
If you are the type of person who loves to backup everything online, PS 5 allows you to upload your save data to cloud storage here. But you can also backup your save data offline straight away on your console. However, this will require you to have a PlayStation Plus membership account.
5. Sync your save data
The coolest thing is, if you happen to own PS4, in the same "Saved Data" menu, there's also the option to synch your save game data of your PlayStation 4 games with your PS 5.
But you can also copy the save data of your PS4 games and then transfer them to your PS 5. But we will talk more about this in the future post.
