Yes, that's right, according to a report from AFTV News, Amazon reportedly is in development of its own messaging app called Anytime. The company actually has already started to do a research and even conduct a survey within its customers regarding the potential app.
According to AFTV News, Anytime will likely become "an all-in-one feature rich service that could even rival social networks". Similar just like other social media apps such as: Twitter or Instagram, Anytime will also let users do things like: applying filters to their photos or videos, mentioning other members with their @username, using stickers and GIFs, and even playing games.
But Anytime will be focused mainly on messaging, voice and video calls. The coolest thing is, in this app, users are also able to call (audio or video) other users or groups and even contact businesses to make reservations or order products/services.
What makes this app probably better and superior is its security. So in Anytime, this service will be secure and encrypted and it could be operated not only on mobile devices like tablet or smartphone, but also on a much bigger computing devices like desktops or laptops.
For your information, besides Anytime, there's actually another app that Amazon has announced already. And that is Chime, which is a video conferencing app specifically made for business-oriented users and it's designed to go head-to-head with Skype for Business or WebEx.
Well, what do you think about Amazon's messaging app? Will it manage to compete against other existing popular apps like Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger or LINE? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, if you're really curious about this app, be sure to stay tuned on this website for more information in the future.
