This Alcatel's mysterious tablet was first spotted on FCC database. This tablet has official designation "Alcatel 9024O". Not only that, the documentation also says that this Alcatel tablet will be called as "PIXI5-8", which sort of tells us that this one indeed is going to be the next-generation Alcatel Pixi 5 tablet.
The documentation also gives information regarding the dimensions of this tablet, which are 100mm by 180mm, so this one will likely be either 8 or 7-inch tablet.
A detailed sketch found on this FCC documentation also shows that this tablet will come with basic hardware such as: a rear-facing camera, speaker (near the bottom left corner), as well as microSD card and SIM slots, which according to FCC files, can be used by both CDMA and GSM SIM cards.
The good news is, based on the FCC document, this Alcatel "PIXI5-8" tablet will support LTE connectivity on it, which is a good thing because this has been the industry standard for tablets and smartphones these days.
Last but not least, it also mentions that this Alcatel mysterious tablet will be powered by 4000mAh Li-polymer battery.
About Alcatel Pixi Tablet
If you haven't known already, so besides Alcatel Plus 12/10 and Alcatel A30 Tablets, this company also has released a bunch of Android tablet series to the market. One of them is Alcatel Pixi tablet series.
So if the new Alcatel tablet that was "caught" red-handed on FCC is indeed the next-gen Alcatel Pixi 5, then we can only assume that this new tablet is going to have an 8-inch display and it will hit the low-end market for sure.
Well, if you're interested to know more about this new Alcatel tablet, be sure to always stick around on this website for further information in the future.
