Gameloft's popular sci-fi FPS game NOVA Legacy will arrive soon on Google Play Store

Hi guys, have you ever played a game called N.O.V.A 3 on your tablet or smartphone? Well, if you happen to be a huge fan of this game, I have good news for you. Recently, Gameloft just announced that the new N.O.V.A game is about to arrive soon on Google Play Store. .

This one will go by the name 'N.O.V.A Legacy' (instead of N.O.V.A 4). And through its official YouTube channel, Gameloft, has been uploading 2 promotional videos of NOVA Legacy since 2 days ago.

The first video was actually just a short promotional video showing the name of this new NOVA game, which is 'NOVA Legacy'. But in the second video, Gameloft finally spilled out the gameplay of this game and how it is going to look like.

Interestingly, according to TouchArcade, this NOVA Legacy is actually just a reboot version of N.O.V.A 1, the first installment of this series. So it's not going to be the sequel of N.O.V.A 3 that has been available on Google Play Store for years now.

NOVA Legacy reportedly will be a free-to-play game, so you can download this game for free without spending any money.

This is not surprising given that Gameloft has been consistently pushing almost all of its titles as free to play games on Google Play Store, from Minion Rush and even other premium titles like Asphalt 8: Airborne, Modern Combat 5 and even NOVA 3.

But what's the catch?

Well, even though NOVA Legacy will be free, this game will be added with an in-app purchasing system so users who want to gain upgrades like weapons, bullets or anything inside the game, they can just buy these optional items on the menus using their real cash.

About N.O.V.A game

Anyway, if you haven't played or even heard of this game already, so N.O.V.A stands for Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance. It is one of the most popular science fiction first person shooting (FPS) games on iOS and Android, even Windows mobile platform.

N.O.V.A is a game that involves shooting aliens and other giant monsters that stand in the way. The main character in this game is a guy named Kal Wardin. Your job is basically to shot enemies with the weapons at your disposal in order to complete each level.

Compared to other FPS titles available on Play Store, NOVA is probably the best sci-fi FPS game available on the market right now, mainly because this game is really top notch when it comes to graphics, storyline and gameplay.

Unfortunately, despite its popularity, many people call NOVA as the clone version of HALO on Xbox consoles.

The gameplay looks similar, the weapons look the same and even the helmet of Kal Wardin looks identical with the one worn by Master Chief in Halo series. So basically, NOVA is the mobile version of HALO series, although Microsoft already releases the Android version of Halo (Halo: Spartan).
