How to Get the Magnum in Resident Evil 3 Remake (Lightning Hawk)?

Magnum or Lightning Hawk is definitely players' most favorite handgun in Resident Evil 3 Remake. Not only is it more powerful than the regular handgun but it can land more damage to bigger enemies like Hunter, Mr. X or Nemesis.

But the question is, where to find this powerful weapon?

Well, lucky for you, below I'm going to show you where exactly you can get this Magnum known as Lightning Hawk in Resident Evil 3 Remake.


Okay, I assume that now you've already passed Carlos' mission where he has to survive of the attack from a horde of zombies and hunters at the hospital, the place where he just recently cured Jill whom almost died in the hands of Nemesis.

Carlos then found her and decided to bring her to the hospital to find the cure or vaccine in that place. And he did. Jill survived.


Okay, after Carlos manages to survive from the zombies' attack in hospital, you will then play as Jill again who just woke up from her sleep after being cured by Carlos.



As Jill, you will proceed to the mission and enter the main room in the hospital where she will meet Carlos' friend for the first time. Now go to the next room.


In the first main room of hospital, there will be a bunch of zombies there, as well as Hunters that are waiting for you in the next room. Now kill these enemies to proceed to the next room.












After you manage to kill all the zombies and hunters in the previous room, at some point in that building, you will see the staircase where it will lead you upstairs to the second floor. Now go further to the second floor.



On the second floor, there will be a bunch of tables and chairs being used as barricade.


Meanwhile, on the left side, there is a door where it will lead you outside of the hospital. Now go to that door and then you will see one zombie or two outside. Now kill them all.




Near in that area, you will see the gray door that will lead you back again inside the hospital, now go toward that door.



As you go inside that door, head over straight down to the little hallway where you will see the door. But don't go to that door. Be careful though because there is a Hunter waiting for you as you walk closer to the door.



As you get closer to the door, on the left side, there is a bunch of stuff like chairs and tables being put there as barricade. If you move further, you will see a small little hole below the tables and chairs where only Jill that can squeeze through in this hole because she is smaller than Carlos.



As you move closer to that hole, there will be an option to squeeze through popping up on the screen. Now select that action. Jill will then try to duck and get inside that hole.



After Jill manages to squeeze through in that hole, as you can see on the left, there is this yellow tape on the broken window. If you approach it, the option to jump out of the window will appear on the screen. Now press that option so Jill can jump out from the window



As you land to the ground outside the hospital area on the first floor, now go to the left and as you can see, there is this silver suitcase laying on the ground. Now open it!



Voila! Now you just found the magnum lightning hawk. Take the gun and put it in your inventory or equip it on your character.



Be aware to not use this magnum to kill regular zombies because the ammo is pretty limited and this gun must be used only to fight big enemies like hunter and Mr. X.

But if you want to get more ammo for this magnum, there's actually another silver suitcase inside the hospital where you'll find some extra ammo for this gun. But this one is locked and you're gonna need a lock pick to open it. And only Jill that has it.

This silver suitcase can be found inside the hospital. You must go back to where you came from. You can find it on the first floor around the garden area, but it's placed inside the hospital. To make it easier for you to find it, there's some vending machine next to the silver suitcase.
