So yes, that's right, Gameloft's brand new zombie shooting game, Dead Rivals finally launched on mobile device yesterday. But iOS users are the ones that gain the exclusive access to play this game for the very first time. But hopefully it will hit Google Play Store soon in the coming days or weeks.
Dead Rivals is designed in third person perspective, so you'll be able to control your character and shoot zombies or people in front of you.
The game itself will take place in Colorado where hordes of zombies have been taking over the city. Your mission here is clear - kill all the zombies that stand in your way and clear the city from these walkers.
According to the developer, this game is a 'fast-paced action meets classic MMORPG adventure' type of game, which seems like an interesting combination. So besides shooting hordes of zombies, in this game, players will also be able to chose 3 unique classes and customize your hero or character with items, armors, weapons and stuff.
The coolest thing is, to show how serious Gameloft in combining this game with MMORPG element, there will be a crafting and research system and you can also upgrade your weapons. This totally reminds us with Dead Rising on Xbox and PlayStation where the character, Brad, can combine many items with a weapon blueprint in order to craft a new weapon or item.
Besides the weapons and items, you'll also be able to upgrade your skills, defense, attack, stamina and many more. So we believe this is going to be really awesome to play. We cannot wait to get the hands-on of this game real time soon.
As an MMORPG, in Dead Rivals, you can also team up with other players all across other countries in order to conquer challenges or mini games inside Dead Rivals. But you can also participate in PvP battles and fight against them.
Well, if you're really curious to see how this game looks like and how it plays, be sure to head over to App Store right and go download "Dead Rivals" on your iPhone or iPad.
Hopefully, the Android version will arrive soon in the coming days or weeks. Finger's crossed on that!
