Ubisoft's Rayman Legends Definitive Edition launches on Nintendo Switch this September 12

The popularity of Rayman series is undeniable. This game has been a massive success for Ubisoft on a wide range of gaming platforms from consoles, tablets to even smartphones. And with Nintendo Switch selling like hot cakes today, it's about time for Ubisoft to land this game on this platform. And apparently, this possibility is imminent as Ubisoft recently just announced that Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition will be released on Nintendo Switch this September 12th.

It was actually IGN that first reported about the arrival of this Rayman game. According to IGN, this game first appeared in Nintendo Switch's European eShop's "Coming Soon" section on its website with the release date slated on September 12th. But with Ubisoft's recent announcement then it becomes clear that this game is indeed going to hit the Switch this fall.

The Definite Edition of Rayman Legends is reportedly gonna offer a number of Switch's specific features, especially compared to the regular version on consoles. 

The coolest thing is, this game can be played by up to four players so this can be a perfect game to play with your friends or family. The Co-op multiplayer of this game will work over local WiFi. 



Impressively, this game support touch screen input method whenever you detach your Nintendo Switch from its dock. So you'll be able to control Rayman and do things like cutting ropes, fighting enemies or even jumping to platforms using the touch screen of Nintendo Switch.

The story behind this game is basically about Rayman and his friends that discover some legendary paintings but as they look closely to each painting, they are suddenly sucked and teleported into the realm of the painting and this is where their journey begins.

Rayman series has been really successful on all major giving platforms and including smart phones and tablets. This Raymond Legends first debuted on consoles like Sony PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation Vita and of course Windows powered PCs. It also launched on the next gen consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2014.

And in the coming months, this game is finally available on Nintendo Switch. So if you are a huge fan of Rayman series, this is definitely the game you don't want to miss.
