So just a few days ago, Google just added more Chromebooks models to get this Android support. This new release of Android Nougat OS offers some new features to Chromebooks, one of them being the ability to give app on your device access to a bunch of APIs and features.
There's also a new feature which allows users to resize the app depending on their needs. This will come in handy if you want to open multiple apps at once on the same screen, just like on Windows OS.
According to ChromeUnboxed, there are few Chromebook models that apparently have received this update, from ASUS Chromebook Flip C302A, Acer Chromebook 14 and also Samsung Chromebook Plus. These 3 laptops also get to enjoy the latest version of Android 7.1.1 through this update.
There are actually some Chromebook laptops that already come with this Android Nougat support out of the box. One of them is Samsung Chromebook Pro. In fact, you can run Asphalt 8: Airborne on this machine, although the game didn't run smoothly for now.
But this support is still in beta stage, so no wonder. Hopefully, more and more Chromebooks will be added soon by Google in the near future.
