Interesting news is coming from a tablet manufacturer named Barnes and Noble. If you're looking a really cheap tablet that can accommodate your hobby of reading books, then the tablet I'm showing to you right now is probably the one you're looking for.

Recently, this company has a new offering that probably can steal your interest especially if you're currently looking for a cheap e-Reader tablet. This one is called 'Barnes an Noble Nook' tablet and it will only cost you $50. Isn't that cheap, huh?

If you're already familiar with Barnes and Noble, then you already know that this company has been known mostly from its Nook tablet series.

I've actually already showed you a bunch of Nook tablets made by this company, from Barnes and Noble Nook tablet, Nook Color, Nook HD and Nook HD+, which all can be perfect as eBook readers.

Anyway, this $50 Nook tablet comes with the specs that are definitely not going to boggle your mind, but it's still pretty great for an eReader that only costs $50.

So there is a 7-inch IPS display on the front and it's sporting 1024x600 pixels resolution. Meanwhile, its performance is handled by an unnamed quad-core processor. It's got a 2MP camera on the back, as well as VGA shooter on the front.

It's equipped with 8GB of internal storage, but it's expandable for up to 128GB via microSD card slot. So you can totally cram this device with a lot of media contents like music, books and movies.

On the software side, it's running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box and there's also an easy access to download apps and games through Google Play Store.

And since this Nook tablet is mainly intended as an eReader, there is a feature called 'Readouts' which can show you brief excerpts from new books or new articles from different magazines.

So if you've already finished reading all of your current books, this Nook tablet can help you find other new interesting books that you might want to check out.

This new $50 Nook tablet from Barnes and Noble is currently available to buy online. It actually has been released 2 days ago on November 25. So if you're still wandering around to find a suitable tablet to purchase this holiday season, this $50 Nook tablet probably can be a pretty good choice for you.

But of course, you cannot expect this tablet to be reliable for playing heavy games because that's not going to happen.

Anyway, besides this Barnes and Noble Nook tablet, there are actually some other affordable tablets that you might want to check out, especially during this Black Friday 2016.

Amazon is currently offering Kindle tablet for only $50. Meanwhile, Amazon Kindle for Kids Bundle also gets its price slashed to $69.99 during Black Friday promotion.

There's also an Amazon Fire 8HD tablet that is definitely better than Barnes and Noble Nook tablet on paper. And it's currently available for only $59.99 on Amazon. It's got an HD resolution display, a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and interestingly, it's expandable through microSD card slot for up to 256GB.
