If you want to reinstall this game on your other device, like PC or laptop, it's really important to move The Sims 4 save file to other PC so you can still continue your last progress in the game. Today, I'm going to show you how to do that.
The Sims series has always been the most favorite simulation game on any platforms (like literally every platform, even on smartphone). In fact, it is probably the best one until today. The Sims 4 is no exception. Offering players with much better visuals and more attractive gameplay than the predecessors, The Sims 4 has become the go-to for many fans of this series today, especially girls.

Similar just like in the previous The Sims series, there are tons of activities that you can do within The Sims 4, from eating delicious meals every morning, taking a shower in your elegant bathroom, practicing electric guitar in your living room so you can get hired in a band or something, and literally everything that you can think of, all can be done in this series.

Anyway, if you happen to play The Sims 4 and you want to install the game on your other PC, below we're going to show you how exactly to make a backup of The Sims 4 save file as well as the mods and then paste them on your other PC.

1. Go to file explorer

Okay, first thing you need to do is open your File Explorer on your PC.

2. Go to Documents

After that, go to "Documents".

3. Open the folder "Electronic Arts"

Inside the "Documents" folder, open the folder "Electronic Arts".

4. Open the folder "The Sims 4"

Now there's a folder named "The Sims 4". Open it.

5. Find the Saves folder

Inside "The Sims 4" folder, there will be a bunch of folders. Now scroll down the list and find the folder "Saves". This is where all of your mods as well as The Sims 4 save file are located.

6. Copy the "Saves" folder

After finding The Sims 4 save file, now you need to create the backup of this folder. Now copy this "Saves" folder.

7. Paste the folder somewhere else

Okay, if you have copied the "Saves" folder, now paste it in other location, like Desktop or flashdisk.

8. Paste The Sims 4 save file on other PC

I assume that now you probably want to install The Sims 4 on other PC. After you have installed your game on your PC, now all you need to do now is copy The Sims 4 save file from your flashdisk and then paste it in the same location where you got it, which is inside "The Sims 4" folder (step number 4 above).
