The Bioshock developers currently working on the new Prince of Persia title called City of Brass

Hey guys, if you happen to be a huge fan of Prince of Persia video games, we have great news for you. The developers behind Bioshock just announced yesterday that they are currently working on a new title that will be heavily inspired by Prince of Persia. This game will called 'City of Brass'.

Yes, similar just like Prince of Persia, this 'City of Brass' will take place in Arabian-Night city where player can wander around the street avoiding traps, facing obstacles, climbing walls, fighting enemies, completing quests and many more. So basically, this game will be a lot like Prince of Persia.

The game itself will be developed under Uppercut Games, which is responsible for titles like "Submerged" and "Epoch". They are actually the formers developers behind Bioshock franchise. So you can imagine how awesome this game is gonna be, especially when we all know that Bioshock series has been receiving so many awards in video game industry.

Anyway, speaking about the game, in City of Brass, you will be tasked to complete each quest by quest that will be generated along the storyline and it will take you to the main story of the game, which is to find the biggest treasure.

Just like Prince of Persia, you will embark a dangerous but exciting adventure where you must avoid obstacles and traps and fight enemies that stand in your way. The enemies in this game will be varied, from human, the dead ones and the worse - the undead.

The coolest thing is, there will be genies that will help you along your journey. They will be tasked as blacksmiths and shopkeepers to help you improve your items and weapons. You can either sell or buy items from them. But they can also upgrade and enhance your weapons.

Something new in this game is whip. So in City of Brass, you will be given a whip alongside your main weapon, which is scimitar (short sword). With this whip, you can swing from rooftop to another one or jump across other platform.

This is actually really awesome and kind of reminds us with Bioshock Infinite, where Booker Dewitt (the protagonist character) can use his grappling hook to swing from one place to another place.

We believe this game is gonna be as great as Prince of Persia. In fact, it's probably even better, mainly because City of Brass will be developed by the people behind Bioshock franchise, which has become one of the best video games in history.


Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

It's been 7 years since the last installment of Prince of Persia 'The Forgotten Sands'. Meanwhile, Ubisoft itself is still confused whether to continue this series or not. With the release of City of Brass, this will definitely be a cure for those fans of Prince of Persia that have been waiting patiently for the new game to come out.

Anyway, City of Brass is slated to launch later this fall. But it will be exclusively released first on PCs through Steam. The good news is, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will come out next in 2018.
