Despite being a versatile platform, I think there's still something missing on Android OS. And that is the feature to copy multiple texts on the clipboard.

So everytime you want to copy some text, you’re only able to do this once at the time. And if you copy another text, the previous text on the clipboard will be replaced with the new one.

The good news is, there’s a workaround for this. And that is by using a very cool app called ‘Native Clipboard’.

The coolest thing about this app is, not only are you able to copy 5 or 10 different texts at the same time on the clipboard, but you can also keep more than 50 different texts on the clipboard. And they will stay there on the clipboard for good.

Isn’t that awesome, huh?

How to be able to copy and paste multiple texts at once on clipboard?

Anyway, below I'm going to show you how exactly to use ‘Native Clipboard’ on your Android smartphone or tablet. Hope you like it!

#1. Go to Google Play Store

Now open the Google Play Store app on your device.

#2. Download and install “Native Clipboard” from Google Play Store

After landing to Google Play Store, now search an app called ‘Native Clipboard’ and download it to your device.

#3. Activate the accessibility of this app

If you have finished downloading and installing this app, the next thing to do is activate this app to the system of your device. This is really important to do because in order for this app to work properly, this app requires the access to the system.

To do this, you just need to go to Setting > scroll down to the bottom of the list > select Accessibility > select ‘Native Clipboard’ > and then enable this app by tapping on the toggle.

#4. Open the app

You’re almost ready to enjoy this app. Now open ‘Native Clipboard’ app on the homescreen or app drawer.

#5. Configure this app

Right when you open this app, you will be able to configure the whole thing about this app. From its interface, number of items on the clipboard, the size of clipboard and even the method to activate its feature. I’m about to show you how in the next steps.

#6. How to change the number of items on clipboard?

Okay, before you start using the app and enjoying its multi-clipboard feature, I want you to do some configurations of this app.

Now to change the number of items on the clipboard, you just need to go to ‘Sizes’ > History Size > and then scroll to your preferred number, like, say 50. So from now on, you will be able to copy 50 items of texts on the clipboard. And if you want more, you can just scroll and pick any higher number in this setting page.

#7. How to change the theme of the clipboard?

The other thing that in my opinion is pretty important to modify from this app is definitely the theme of clipboard. So in default, everytime you open the clipboard of this app, it will appear in yellow background color.

However, if you don’t really like this default theme, you can also switch to other options, like gray or dark green. To do this, go to ‘Theme’ and then on the bottom position, tap on the ‘Theme Collections’. You will then be given with 3 options of templates that you can choose from, like: LG Black, Default and Dark Material.

But if you don’t like to use any of these themes, ‘Native Clipboard’ also allows you to manually modify the color of each element on the clipboard through RGB color combination.

Anyway, if you want to see how it looks in preview, you just need to tap on the clipboard icon (in the circle) on the BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER.

#8. How to activate the clipboard on any screen?

Now this is the most important part, which is to choose the method to activate the clipboard on any screen. To do this, you can simply go to ‘Advanced’ > Alternative Combos > and then select ‘Double Tap’ in the option.

So for example, if you’re currently opening Opera mini, you can activate the clipboard by pressing in the text box/text field and then tap on it 2 times. As you can see on the screen, if you do this correctly, you will see the clipboard appear from the bottom of the screen and it will override your keyboard.

If you want to paste the current texts that you have copied earlier, you just need to tap on the box and the text will be pasted in the text field. But if you don’t need this text anymore, you can just swipe the box to the left/right.

#9. How to backup and restore the saved setting?

Okay, after you finish configuring all the settings of this app, you might want to create the backup of it in case if you accidentally remove ‘Native Clipboard’ app from your device. To do this, go to ‘Backup & Restore’ > select ‘Backup’ > rename the backup (if you want) > and then press ‘OK’.

#10. How to pin the text on clipboard?

You can also pin any texts so they become permanent on the clipboard. To do this, you just need to tap on the text box on clipboard for a couple of seconds until it magnifies itself. And then, tap on the pin icon on the top.

After that, press again the box for a few seconds to go back to the main clipboard. As you can see, this pinned box will be shown in different color than the other regular texts on clipboard.

#11. You’re good to go

Okay, now it’s time to try out this app on your device. It’s actually really simple to activate the clipboard on any screen.

As I’ve mentioned already above, if you, for example, are currently browsing the net on Opera mini app, you can activate this feature by tapping on Google search box and then tap on it 2 times. The clipboard will automatically appear from the bottom of the screen and will override the keyboard.

If you want to paste any of your copied texts, you can simply tap on its box and the text will be pasted in the text field. You can then remove this text if you no longer need it anymore by swapping to the left or right.

But if you accidentally remove an important text from the clipboard, don’t you worry, you can still bring it back by pressing ‘UNDO’ button which will appear everytime you remove text from the clipboard.

#12. How to hide the clipboard from the keyboard?

After you finish using the clipboard, you might want to hide the clipboard so you can type again on keyboard. To do this, you can simply tap on the DOWN ARROW icon on top of the clipboard. This clipboard will be hidden once you press it.

Conclusion

Well, there you have it guys, my tips for you if you want to copy multiple texts on clipboard. Anyway, what about you guys? Do you also happen to use this app on your device? Or this is the very first time you know it? What do you think about this app? Do you like it or not?

Well, if you have anything to say regarding this app, don’t hesitate to leave your opinion on the comment section below. I'll be more than happier to hear your thoughts here.
