8 Great Items in Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird Edition

If you call yourself as a huge fan of Bioshock Infinite, then it will be a must for you to have one of the special items of this game that came out officially from the maker itself, Irrational Games.

This one is the Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird Edition, which of course, will put Songbird in the spotlight among other interesting items that come inside the package.


First of all, I think the box of this Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition can be considered as really huge compared to the copy DVD of the game itself, the regular one that you normally can find across the game stores around your town.

But given the fact that this is a Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird Edition, then there will be so many stuff inside the box, not to mention the “special one” that Irrational Games has provided for you in the box.

Meanwhile, there are some concept arts that you can see around every side of the box, with the Bioshock Infinite logo stamped below the transparent plastic where you can see all the stuff inside without opening the box.

The box size of Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition is really small compared to the other special edition games with the same price of $149.99, like Gears of War III that came out a couple of years ago where it had a giant Marcus Phoenix statue in it.

But that’s not surprising given that the statue of Songbird itself, which you can find it inside the box, seems really small, where it should be enormous, compared to the real size of songbird in the game.

But who the hell wants to make the Songbird with his real giant size and cram it in the box, right?


Okay, let’s start with the first item, or one of the items that you see at the first time in this Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition.

Of course, there is the DVD copy of the game. Interestingly, this DVD copy of Bioshock Infinite comes with another smaller individual black box, which holds that DVD in one place with other items.


Besides that DVD, in this Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition, there is the copy of Bioshock Infinite soundtrack which, i don’t know, maybe contains the songs found inside the game.

But it’s just great to see how Irrational Games doesn’t forget about small details like this soundtrack to be included in the purchase of this special edition.


The 3rd item that you can find in this Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition is the avatar items in the form of brochure alike paper, which contains all the items that you can use directly inside the game on your own Booker Dewitt’s avatar collection items.

Not to mention, in this Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition, there is also another brochure alike paper that contains some of the upgrade packs or gears that you can implement right away to the avatar of Booker Dewitt, such as: the new pants, costumes, etc.

I think they both are really cool.


Besides those 2 upgrade packs above, there is also the other special item, also in the form of paper, that is wrapped up tightly in the envelope.

And if you open it, you will find the concept art of Booker Dewitt using one of his telekinesis powers called “Devil’s Kiss”, which we already know as the power that allows Booker to use a fire magic that he can throw at the enemies just like throwing a grenade, but this one is a fire grenade.

If I’m not mistaken, this small concept art of “Devil’s Kiss” is designed by the concept artist of Bioshock Infinite, according to many sources.


The other interesting item in this Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition is a book, which i think, looks like an old time text book.

This book contains all the stuff about Bioshock Infinite, like the concept arts of the game, the concept arts of Elizabeth in different appearances according to her evolutions in the game and other interesting facts about Bioshock Infinite.


And if you like collecting key chains, then lucky for you as in this Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition, you can get the official Bioshock Infinite key chain, which is really small but still looks attractive as your room key chain.


Okay, before we go to the most important item in this Bioshock Infinite Ultimate Songbird edition, then let me show you first a small miniature of Handy man in this package.

This Handyman statue is really small compared to the real size of Handy man himself in this game.

I think it’s about an inch tall.


And finally, as mentioned in the package name, there is the action figure of the Songbird himself.

This songbird statue is much bigger than the miniature figure of Handyman that we’ve already seen earlier.

And like the rest of the other items, this Songbird action figure also has its own individual box that has some concept arts of Songbird with the other characters in this game.

The box itself has this red color on the top side with yellow on major side of this box.

The Songbird, the statue itself shows how this bird is standing on top of the ruined stones where he raises his right hand with all of those sharp claws, while his left hand is holding the rock.

On the back, of course, there will be his huge wings.

However, the wings are separated with the action figure itself, and each wing is also separated one to another, so you need to put the right and left wings together first before attempting to join the wings on the back of Songbird statue.

Given that Irrational Games itself only releases a little batch of this special songbird edition, then it will come in limited edition.

So don’t be surprised if on Amazon and other retail stores around your town, you won’t likely see this songbird edition anymore as it’s already sold out from a few months ago.

But if you want to show that you are a real big fan of Bioshock Infinite, then you must prove it by looking a bit further on other retail stores around your town.
